Costa Rica and Nicaragua: November
This month I have been lucky enough not only to spend more time in Costa Rica, but to travel to a few different places in Nicaragua too! It is not even the end of the month yet and I feel like I have seen and done so much.
In San Juan del Sur I soaked up the sun on the beach, went to yoga at Zen Yoga and drank delicious smoothies at Buddha Garden. On Ometepe I stayed in an eco-hotel, climbed one of the two volcanoes on the island and saw a cayman crocodile while kayaking through a mangrove swamp. In Granada I drank cocktails whilst watching locals break dance in the street, swam in the beautiful Laguna Apoyo and ate in some amazing courtyard restaurants.
My return to the UK is in sight but I still have more excitement ahead, because I am headed to the spiritual haven of Nosara with one of my best girlfriends. I am so so grateful for the amazing few months I have spent out here and will be completely heartbroken to leave, but really starting to look forward to seeing my friends, family, getting festive and most importantly, getting back into the kitchen.
